My nephew wore this to his birthday party and refused to take it off for dinner. The shield is lighter than I expected, so he can actually run around with it without dropping it every two minutes. The plumes on top got a little bent in the box, but they fluffed back out fine.

My son hasn't put it down since it arrived—the gold finish and royal helmet crest look even better in person than in the photos. The plumes are sturdy enough to survive our backyard jousting matches, so it's already earned its keep.

Bought this for my son's medieval birthday party and the plume held up surprisingly well through a whole afternoon of dueling. Only gripe is the handle feels a bit thin for smaller hands, but he didn't seem to mind.
